It was several years ago now when I was rescued by helicopter, can I still join?  – Yes.

How much is it for just the certificate?  – The membership card is not available on it’s own – you can only get one when purchasing a Haast Club collectible.

Can I buy one for someone else who was helicoptered to Hospital? – Yes, Haast Club membership makes a perfect gift. You will need to apply in their name and submit their rescue story.

Is Haast Club membership open to patients flown by helicopter in a country other than New Zealand?  – Yes.

How much of the proceeds go to help rescue helicopters? – At least half of the purchase price received will be donated to the Trust of your choice.

Am I eligible to join if my flight wasn’t really a rescue, but a transfer between hospitals?  – Yes, as long as you were flown as a patient, or saved from dire circumstances by helicopter, you may join.

I flew in a rescue helicopter once, but just for fun, can I join? – No, it is an exclusive club, passengers are not eligible.

If my mother got rescued, can I become a member? –  No, only your mother may join.  You may purchase a collectible in her name, giving her rescue story.

How do I know which chopper service will benefit? – Proceeds go to the NZ Rescue Helicopter Trust of your choice selected in the drop-down menu during purchase.

How thick is the silver plating – can it be engraved on? – The artworks are not plated, but cast out of solid metal (silver or bronze) at a foundry in New Zealand. They take engraving well.

What are the ongoing costs of being a Haast Member? – You become a member with the initial purchase of a Haast collectible.  It is a lifetime membership with no ongoing fees or obligations. 

What is the delivery timeframe? – If in stock 7 working days. If on backorder then 15 working days, or we’ll offer a full refund. 

What is your privacy policy?  – The data collected on this site remains private and will not be shared with any other party, unless you tick the ‘allow’ box on the checkout page.  If you wish to share any part of your story, please do so via the Haast Club Facebook page.  Our payment service provider, Paystation, has PCI DSS compliant security capabilities and policy for transmission of payment card data. 

Do you have a returns policy? – Yes, the product may be returned within thirty days for a full refund, if undamaged.
